::: section Crown is seeking a Mid-Senior level Web Develope r with foundational JavaScript and PHP skills to support the day-to-day maintenance of energy-related dashboards, Open Data API, websites, and data update procedures.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, organization, functionality, accessibility, navigation, and overall usability of a web site at a leading government agency. This position works closely with internal IT staff to ensure the web site supports the mission need and outreach deemed essential by government stakeholders.
This is currently a fully remote/telework position. :::

BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field2-4 years of experience in client server or distributed architecture environments including web-based applications developmentConfigureand maintain webpages (e.g. data modeling, coding, integration, testing, debugging, maintenance, documentation code libraries and visualizations)Manage content, create documentation, and facilitate communications and postings with Stakeholder Outreach and Communications personnelPerformsupport-related tasks for governments web development teamImplementupgrades to website programming and web-database application developmentDevelop appropriate security measures to safeguard data and restrict access appropriatelyOther duties as assignedSome knowledge and experience in the use of continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, etc.) and build/deploy automation.Ability to document requirements and specificationsU.S. Citizenship is required

Experience as a Front-end Software Developer with experience designing interactive web applicationsExperience working with PHP, JavaScript, HTMLExperience in Oracle and Postgres/ SQLProficient in Git and GitFlow or a deep understanding of version control tools and branching modelFamiliarity with structured query language, working with code repositories in a team environment, Angular framework, exposure to CI/CDAbility to analyze user needs to implement web site content, graphics, performance, and capacityUnderstanding of filesharing platformsMust be able to work independently to complete projects in a timely mannerStrong problem-solving skillsExceptional team player with strong time management and a willingness to learn new skills and ideasMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm :::
