Overview:
This position is responsible for all phases of data processing system projects, from requirements definition to installation. Leads technical efforts in the development, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems. Develops test plans, software, and procedures that improve processing capabilities. Supports productions systems by resolving complicated issues and ensuring ongoing functionality. Serves as a technical expert and may provide a leadership role for less experienced associates in the work group.Responsibilities:Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based software and applications, contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle.Writing well designed, testable, efficient codeDebugging and resolving technical problems that ariseProducing detailed design documentationRecommending changes to existing Java infrastructureEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance

Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skillsObject Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.Knowledge of concurrency patterns in JavaWorking knowledge with WebLogic Application containerExperience working with credit scoring applications and consuming credit bureau APIs such as Experian, DnBFamiliarity with Credit Scoring models such as SASHands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.Proficiency with various design and architectural patternsDevelop a 3-tier architecture to solve client requirements and provide separation of database, business and client logic.Experience in the Spring FrameworkExperience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, GWT, Spring MVC)Experience with test-driven developmentProficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience in Web Service development of SOAP (WCF) and REST based services, Entity FrameworkExperience in Database development using SQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Complex T- SQL, Linked ServerExperience in agile development and automated deployment using Azure DevOpsFamiliarity with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitFamiliarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React.Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
