Come join us and become a part of our winning formula!The Demand, Sales & Operational Planning Director owns all forecasting projections and systems, as well as the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) processes. The purpose of the role is to implement a standard S&OP process and ensure it is adhered to, therefore delivering the business plan with operational excellence. The position has process ownership for budget planning, demand planning, pre-S&OP, and executive S&OP processes across the enterprise. The Demand, Sales & Operational Planning Director also contributes to the monthly supply planning process, supply chain strategy, and has a key commercial connection with sales leadership across the different channels. This role is a member of the SCN BestCo Supply Chain Leadership team.This is a Hybrid position!Estimated starting hourly base rate is $189,054.58 - $283,581.87 less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary, variable annual incentive, based on company performance factors. Each benefit is subject to eligibility requirements as specified in plan documents, and the Company reserves the right to modify the benefits it offers from time to time.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesImplement standard Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process with focus on Demand Planning.Lead the end to end (E2E) S&OP process, driving business alignment with multifunctional partners.Responsible for the overall demand Plan for Contract and Retail business across the entire enterprise.Drive clarity between demand plan gap vs sales plan and develop sufficiency reviews.Manage, coach, and develop the Demand Planning organization.Drive multifunctional forecast inputs and alignment for reasonability based on experience and market drivers, and influence input to deliver optimal plans.Standardize meeting drumbeats and enable future planning for an efficient supply chain.Set the vision across the Demand Planning organization and focus on driving and delivering key results, such as forecasting accuracy and sales plan performance.Drive statistical forecasting and planning by working with the demand planning function to ensure adequate supply and capacity are being planned to meet customer demand predictably.Evaluate current and future demand planning tool to drive statistical forecasting.Implement Statistical forecasting, Promotion and New product launch forecast.Implement scenario planning in supply and inventory planning to ensure appropriate buffers/capacity are in place to meet customer requirements. Additionally, drive scenario planning with demand planning teams to support business needs.Travel to company and stakeholder locations as needed (~50%).People Leader ResponsibilitiesThe position carries out People Leader Responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include:Direct or indirect supervision of approximately 5 employees to include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and administering corrective actions; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.Ensure the safety and quality standards expected of all SCN BestCo staff are met.Plan organizational structure, position content, and staffing levels.Required QualificationsEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or related field.10 years’ relevant Supply Chain planning experience.8 years’ managerial (team leadership) experience.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting constituencies.Proven capability to work in a highly complex business environment and understand the bigger end-to-end supply chain picture.Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and learn new processes.Ability to think strategically while also managing process changes and ground-level activities.Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational/time management skills.Proven ability to create, implement and measure new processes.Ability to work collaboratively with different styles and develop strong partnerships.Highly effective communication skills: ability to present to a wide range of stakeholders across different teams and levels of the organization.Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills to both internal and external executives.Advanced leadership capabilities, with the ability to coach, develop, and manage the performance of a team.Solid technical skills in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal staff and management. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Must be able to demonstrate practical problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in business administration, supply chain, economics, or related field.APICS or Six Sigma certification.Prior experience implementing S&OP and demand planning processes.Nutraceutical, food & beverage, or pharmaceutical industry experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.Experience managing demand planning in standard tools like SAP, Oracle, or JDE.
