Job Responsibilities:
Learn and improve existing Ansible based framework and playbooks.
Help Application owners understand framework and its benefits.
Collaborate with Application teams and onboard new application platforms onto the Ansible framework and author playbooks.
Test and demo the capability of the completed playbooks and deployment engine.
Assist Application teams in deploying into Production.
Build CI/CD orchestration pipelines based on Git.
Manage multiple projects with an eye on high quality and timely delivery.
Demonstrate ownership, accountability, proactive attitude, and leadership in the delivery of work.
Be trusted to resolve unclear but urgent task.
Manage features/sub-features/stories related to own work in JIRA.
Collaborate with engineering teams (network, firewall, systems, data center) to procure and deploy Linux servers with Harness Delegates
Collaborate with network and firewall teams to ensure connectivity from Harness to Production systems.
Skills and Experience Required:
5+ years’ experience in creating and deploying Ansible frameworks and playbooks.
5+ years’ experience managing configuration, build and deployments for enterprise software solutions.
Experience using applications such as:
Jira
Harness
GitHub
Jenkins
Development experience with Python or Perl or other scripting languages.
Excellent knowledge of Linux technologies
Multi-tasking experience – managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills – written and spoken.
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
Understanding of network fundamentals, APIs and HTTP protocol
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
Ability to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution to
complex issues
High degree of professionalism and self-motivation
