Role Overview:

Applies civil and/or architectural engineering design knowledge, skill, and ability to create construction drawings for the project owner and provides continuous professional support throughout the entire construction process. An intern works under the close supervision of Principals, Project Managers, and Project Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of calculations using engineering skills and related computer applications.Accurately and timely produces design elements consistent with project requirements.Assists in the preparation of other documents germane to a project with enthusiasm and professionalismFollows established work rules, policies, and proceduresActively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies and reduce costsCooperatively takes on other duties, roles, or responsibilities as assignedAssist in the field with structural assessments and Investigations.Other general office processes and procedures and project activitiesMinimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of engineering principalsCompletion of 3rd year coursework in Architectural Engineering (Structural emphasis) or Civil requiredExcellent communication skillsTravel Requirements:

Travel is anticipated between 0-10%

Estimated Starting Salary Range:

$23.00 to $26.00 per hour
