Qt Group is looking for a
Account Manager, QA
to join our sales team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for finding and developing new business opportunities and growing the Qt Quality Assurance customer base within a defined territory.
You will connect with Director and VP level of Engineering professionals and demonstrate the value of Static Code, Software Architecture Analysis tools and other Qt Quality Assurance products such as Test Automation. You will help customers solve their development issues and deliver business outcomes with a consultative sales approach.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement smart customer acquisition strategies to grow Qt’s Quality Assurance customer baseBuild and maintain strategic long-term relationships with our customers to achieve organic growth and long-term company goalsLead and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing (including commercial contract negotiations)Plan and execute on the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of customer engagementAlign with business development managers, industry leads, and regional sales leadership teams to present a single front to help represent a single vision for our customersParticipate in industry events to promote Qt Quality Assurance products and servicesSkills Needed:
Understanding of software development processes and the common challenges and pain points faced by developers and testersExperience in selling software tools in the area of software engineering such as code analysis, test automation, requirements engineering, ALM, etc.Knowledge in value-based selling, solution selling and creating long term business relationships in the software licensing industryTarget-driven and results-focused personality with a goal to deliver overachievement against clear objectives and business development targetsProven track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customersAbility to demonstrate the value proposition and ROI of quality assurance products to potential customersExperience:
3-5 years of experience selling software development, QA tools, embedded technology, or similarA track-record of success in selling subscriptions into complex accounts, demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong customer referencesPrevious experience selling a dual licensed, open source/commercial software is a plusFamiliarity with Sandler Sales Methodology a plus
