Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies and people around the world.You will join our Water Infrastructure and Climate Adaptation (WICA) DepartmentAs our new Senior Project Manager, you will be part of our team responsible for the assessment and design, and rehabilitation of water and wastewater infrastructure and resiliency projects for municipal clients in the Mid-Atlantic Region (Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia).Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Serving as the WICA lead for marketing, planning and execution of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the state of Maryland. Assist in the marketing, planning, and execution of municipal water and wastewater projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region.Business development proposal creation, project estimating, project planning and execution, and quality reviews.Serving as municipal clients’ main point of contact and strategic plan implementation related to planning, design, permitting and construction phase services for water/wastewater infrastructure and resiliency projects.Active engagement in professional societies with the goal of reaching a leadership position with CWEA and/or Chesapeake AWWA.Leading technical designs and preparation of contract documents for municipal clients.Assuming an active role in the selection of the project teams, prepare and administer project budgets & schedules for projects under supervision.Coordination and mentoring of technical staff and oversight of project teams.Management of current clients and development of new clients within the Mid-Atlantic municipal market.Working with regional offices and other Project Managers within Ramboll to ensure efficient and effective application of staff.Assuming a primary role in client contract activities.Managing budgets, project staff, subcontractors, task schedules, change orders and project risks (quality and revenue recognition), invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and budgeted project gross margin.Managing the development, planning, execution and close-out of large, complex engineering projects, in accordance with the Ramboll Project model, and in accordance with metrics set in the RAM Power BI Dashboard.Providing technical and financial oversight/guidance to project team in accordance with the Ramboll Project Model.Demonstrating the ability to obtain repeat business from existing clients.Achieving positive client feedback as determined by project closeout and client satisfaction surveys.Your starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:Experience in successful project management of preliminary and final design, bidding and construction phase services for municipal water/ wastewater infrastructure and resiliency projects (minimum 15 years desired; demonstrated expertise accepted). Experience in managing and executing sewer rehabilitation, pressure pipeline (water and sewer), and pumping station designs is preferred.Client facing with strong existing client relationships, especially in the Metropolitan Baltimore and District of Columbia municipal water/wastewater infrastructure and resiliency field.Strong personnel development skills with experience managing and mentoring people in management, engineering, and design positions.Contract document preparation and construction services.Strong communication skills.Experience in client project management.Demonstrated successful track record in exceptional client services.B.S.
