AEROS Cloud is the cloud-based data collection and web service system used by LG Energy solutions to house and monitor data from their energy storage sites. This role will be part of a team that is responsible for writing server-side application logic to improve the existing systems and develop new systems based on requirements by the stakeholders. They will need to integrate internal and third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality and data processing capabilities.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar major or equivalent on job training.2+ years of experience developing in PythonDevelopment expertise in Python 3.xDevelopment experience of RESTful APIs and/or full-stack applications using a Python web framework such as: Django, Flask, etcExperience integrating backend components with REST endpointsExperience with the automated build process (continuous integration) and source code version control tools (e.g., git/jenkins)Interest in working in an Agile environmentCritical thinker with the ability to breakdown complex technical requirementsFamiliar with integrating with data sources such as Redis, MySQL, or similarExperience developing microservices for a containerized environmentPreferred Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years job experience or equivalent training designing, deploying, and managing SQL databasesExperience managing and automating deployments using AWS services.Experience with creating and executing operations policy and procedures required by regulations such as HIPAA, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and experience with associated audits of policy.Location: Saint Louis, MO**This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 2 days a week in the officeTravel: Occasional travel may be required.
