We are growing rapidly and are adding a Remote Software Engineer to our team. We are looking for a skilled software engineer to join our team to help us on a plethora of projects, all focused on connected distributed systems. This is a remote role with annual opportunities to collaborate in person.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain software applications using Python and Django deployed to AWSDevelop and maintain frontend web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript/VueWrite and optimize PostgreSQL data queriesValidate, test, deploy, and maintain L2L’s Dispatch softwareWork with cross-functional roles to ensure software meets business requirementsCollaborate daily with a team of software engineersExcellent communication in written and verbal formsMust Haves:3+ years of experience in software engineeringExperience with Python and a web framework such as Django (or ASP.NET, Rails, etc.)Experience with web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypescriptExperience with a modern front-end framework (Vue, React, Angular)Experience with Postgres, MySql, or MS Sql queries, tuning, designOpen to collaborative engineering methods (pairing/mobbing)Ability to work remotely full-time with minimal in-person contactSelf-starter who takes team ownership seriouslyUnstoppable problem-solving skillsCraves customer interactionHumble and quick to learnNice To Haves:Bachelor’s degree in Computer SciencePractical experience with test-driven development (TDD)Extensive experience with collaborative engineering methods (pairing/mobbing)Presentation, motivation, and leadership skillsWe Offer:100% remote work from anywhere in the Continental USHighly collaborative and talented teammatesHealth, Vision, Dental, and 401k benefitsA top-of-the-line Mac or Dell LaptopThree annual in-person summits.
