This position is highly client-facing and is responsible for identifying new clients for sales opportunities and maintaining and strengthening relationships with our current customers. This role is critical for understanding daily issues that arise with customers and coordinating responses with the proper department to resolve them. The ideal candidate will be energetic, intuitive, well-organized, and a self-starter. The Director of Sales will report to our VP of Sales.What You'll DoLead and inspire a team of high-performing sales people.Hire and manage the sales teams to drive revenue growth and meet sales goals; build tools and/or reports to provide updates to cross-functional teams.Continue to develop infrastructure, systems, processes, and partner with our Sales Enablement Manager to create training programs to support the success of the sales team.Support sales team members in developing account plans for winning and expanding business with high-growth fintech companies.Create and foster your pipeline of prospects and achieve a minimum of 30% sales win rate.Maintain current and accurate information on account status and sales activity in SalesForce.com.Maintain weekly sales forecast and achieve quota quarterly.Build strong cross-functional relationships with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Legal teams to execute against a strategy that bolsters BaaS, including reporting on market feedback and product development strategy iterations.Be a subject matter expert on BaaS solutions in the market.You may be a good fit for this role if you have:5+ years of experience in sales, 2+ years managing a team (preference towards those within B2B SaaS and fintech industries).The ability to be an empathetic leader - you know how to build the foundation of trust that will motivate your team.Proven track record of sustained new sales success and exceeding quotas with Fintech or SaaS solutions.A love for problem-solving and comfortable asking for help and admitting mistakes.Experience in Sandler Sales, SPIN Selling and/or Challenger Sales.An urgency to innovate - you know that speed is the name of the game and believe in failing fast.History of exceptional forecasting discipline and demonstrated ability to build a robust pipeline.A high bar - you take appropriate action to ensure your team meets those standards.Fluency in developing customized proposals, pricing strategies, contracting processes, deal structures, and contract negotiation.Self-motivation and are a dynamic thinker with the ability to flex, innovate, and creatively solve problems.Experience building processes from scratch and creating support while doing it.Strong interest in the intersection of technology and financial services.While these are not firm requirements for the job, the best candidates will meet many of these criteria.
