Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical or business fieldDeeply technical background – 8+ years working in Data with many years of experience as an individual contributor and at least 3+ years in management roles5+ years’ of hands-on experience with one or more general purpose programming languages Python/JAVA and Shell/Bash scripting5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting Big Data applications using the Hadoop ecosystem, such as Hadoop (HDFS, YARN, MapReduce), Spark (Spark SQL Spark Streaming, MLLib), Pig, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Oozie3+ years of experience collaborating with data science teams on data preparation, feature engineering, modeling and implementationCan easily communicate technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences and navigate between big-picture and technical detailsExperience identifying, developing, and growing talentDemonstrable experience in creating a culture of inclusion, ownership and accountability through role modeling company valuesPreference will be given to
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical or business fieldFamiliarity with AWS and cloud native data processing tools like Redshift, Presto, EMR, Glue, Athena, SageMaker. Certification on AWS Big Data technologies is a plusHands-on experience in Data Science with R or Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworksExperience working with health care dataYou Will Enjoy:
