LOCAL OMAHA CANDIDATES STRONGLY PREFERRED - In person needed 2 days a week (Monday and Wednesday)
The Lead .Net Software Developer will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of all software and related artifacts at Mosaic. This may include, but is not limited to, API integrations, .NET/React native applications, modernization of legacy scripting (perl/python/php), testing automation, and facilitation of data integration requirements using APIs / Custom solutions. Provide oversight of functional .Net applications while also being directly involved with .NET application coding, system debugging, code reviewing, and the development of operational procedures. Ensures the software development team produces scalable and functional applications that meet Mosaic's specifications.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Create and maintain applications to support business functions using .NET and React nativeMaintain middleware functions to support data interfaces from on prem, cloud, and SaaS data sourcesParticipate in an Agile SDLCImplements tools and practices to prevent security breaches and other exposuresLead root cause analysis for production errors and recommend fixes for code, application design and architecture.Facilitates code reviews, product rollouts, fixes, and updates as neededContribute in establishing naming conventions, development standards, branching and merging of code and standard operating procedures for the development teamDevelop and maintain a technical roadmap to take advantage of technology features introduced in new releases.Mentors and supports junior members of the development team on an as needed basis to help them develop technical skills and best practicesMeets with customers and the project team to determine application requirementsReviews requirements to estimate development work effortAnalyzes system requirements and development tasksDevelops technical specificationsMake recommendations on the application development, design and architectureWrites secure and scalable code for .NET software applications.Reviews and debugs .NET applicationsDeploys functional websites, programs, and applications

Knowledge of Company policies and proceduresKnowledge of and ability to demonstrate Mosaic's 7 Essential Practices of LeadershipStrong understanding and experience with C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, Razor Pages, Web API, JQuery, CSS (SAAS/Bootstrap), HTML5, SQL Query, Stored Procedure, Azure Functions, CI/CD Pipeline and Azure PaaS and DevOps tools and platformsExperience with designing database schema, stored procedures, trigger and user defined functions in MS SQL Server environmentKnowledge of Project management skills preferredStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong time-management and organizational skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong knowledge of security best practices for application design and developmentAbility to design and implement intuitive user experiencesExperience with building and integrating applications using SOA and Micro servicesAdaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownershipEducationBA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience building applications with modern web technologies and leading development teams. Experience with strictly regulated fields is preferred (e.g. HIPAA, FERPA, PCI, etc)
