Who we are looking for...

We are seeking a Geospatial Project Manager that is responsible for leading and managing the implementation of asset management systems, geospatial solutions, and other related projects. This role requires a strong ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to specified scopes. The project manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including clients, IT, service teams, account managers and various geospatial professionals, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of technology solutions with business objectives. The following skills will be required for this position:

Understanding of data collection, analysis, and visualization in a geospatial context.Familiarity with asset management practices and softwareExperience working independently or with a team on advanced projectsExcellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to visualize, present, and translate geospatial information.Works independently with minimal guidance and understand project management techniquesAbility to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions to improve performanceAbility to interpret internal and external needs for asset management and geospatial solutionsAdvanced knowledge of spatial analytical and cartographic techniques, preferredKnowledge of system and database design knowledge, preferredAbility to load, reference, project and prepare data from internal or external providers, preferredSoftwares: Microsoft Software Suite, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS, Robust Asset Management Platform ExperienceRequirements

Experience in a primary client facing role for a minimum of 2-3 yearsExperience in software or SaaS implementation is strongly preferredProfessional Project Management training, strongly preferredBachelor's degree in geography, geographic information systems (GIS), business, project management or other related field is preferred.This position is primarily a remote position. Travel may be required for client site visits.Travel to Jacksonville, FL 2x/year is required for team events and training.Typical Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM in office or remote availability.Specific Duties:

Project Leadership and Execution:

Manage all phases of project timeline including planning, budget, execution, monitoring, and closure to ensure successful delivery.Facilitate project review and retrospective sessions to ensure continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.Scope, Time, and Budget Management:

Develop and maintain project plans that outline project scope, resource allocation, timelines, and budget. Adjust plans as needed to meet changing needs and requirements.Utilize project management tools to track project performance and forecast future project needs accurately.Coordinate change orders and out of scope requests from clientsStakeholder Coordination:

Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, external clients, and third-party vendors. Ensure all stakeholders are informed of goals and objectives, project progress, action plans and any issues that arise.Engage stakeholders regularly and systematically as needed.Risk Management:

Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them in a timely manner.Elevate project risks and issues to the appropriate stakeholdersQuality Assurance:

Oversee the quality of deliverables and ensure they meet the required standards and client expectations.Coordinate system testing and confirm that the project's technical specifications are met.Reporting:

Maintain project records to report on project status and milestones. Present and report to upper management and key stakeholders during regular project status meetings.Utilize data visualization tools to enhance the clarity and impact of project reports for stakeholders.Resource Management:

Allocate resources appropriately to ensure projects are completed within the allocated timelines and budgets.Periodically assist in evaluating team composition and skill sets to ensure alignment with project needs and strategic goals.Client Engagement:

Engage with clients to gather requirements, deliver updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.Be the point of contact for the client for any issues that need to be escalatedBe responsible for overall client satisfaction.What you'll need to be successful...Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude. Expertise in GIS and asset management tools and methodologies.Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams.Strong project management skills, with an emphasis on timely delivery and budget adherence.Ability to build and sustain relationships, both internally and with external partners.Aptitude for business development and understanding market dynamics.Effective communication skills, allowing for clear articulation of complex geospatial concepts.Embodies the 'ETM Way' in both their personal and professional lives.
