Job Title: Sr ServiceNow Developer (ITSM & SPM)Primary Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days in ChicagoPosition Type: Contract
OverviewTalentFish is casting a line for a Sr ServiceNow developer (ITSM & SPM). This is a hybrid role with a high growth mission driven healthcare organization. The Sr ServiceNow Developer will develop workflows, configurations, customizations, and applications. Works with the business to customize/update complex software for computer programs, designs prototype applications, implements and tests source code, troubleshoots software applications and effectively execute. Our client is expanding their ServiceNow footprint and implementing SPM.
Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.5+ years' IT experience working in related workflow tools.Experience in ServiceNow modules specifically; ITSM & SPMMust have completed at least 2 implementations of SPM within ServiceNowExpertise in ServiceNow, ideally certified as a ServiceNow Developer and/or Administrator3+ years' experience as a ServiceNow Developer documenting requirements, designing and build in a ServiceNow enterprise environment.Experience utilizing techniques and tools including HTML, CSS, SQL or JavaScript.Experience with scrum and other agile based methodology of software development.Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.nalytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Handles complex work critical to the organization.Key developer working on the implementation of SPM modules within ServiceNow.Develops software applications, workflows, and configurations to meet customer needs. (Must have 3 years of ServiceNow developer experience - for example 5 years with SN 3 as an Admin and 2 as a Developer is equal to 2 years developer experience.Understands and follows through with business requirements during all phases of development.Transforms design into functionality; tests and maintains layout and other components to enhance user-experience.Implements software applications.Supports software applications.Continuously maintains; tests and troubleshoots issues and problems.Creates installation, troubleshooting, and end user documentation.
