As the Standard Bearer, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel runs smoothly, guest satisfaction is maintained at the highest level, and financial goals are achieved. You will lead a team of employees to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive work environment.Core Job Responsibilities & DutiesOversee and manage all hotel operations, including but not limited to front desk, housekeeping, maintenance & salesDevelop and maintain a positive guest experience procedure, ensuring that all staff and team members provide excellent customer serviceMonitor financial performance and adjust as necessary to meet revenue and profit goalsDevelop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfactionOversee the recruitment, training, and development of team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to perform their duties efficiently and effectivelyCreate and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee engagementManage inventory and order supplies to maintain adequate levels and minimize wasteHold regular briefings and meetings with all heads of departments – daily huddles, weekly management meetings, etc.Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customer service and refurbishmentHandling complaints and oversee the service recovery proceduresResponsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel’s annual operating budget, marketing & sales plan and capital budgetClosely monitor the hotel’s daily reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordinglyEnsure all monthly financial outlooks for rooms, food & beverage, admin & general are on target and accurateMaximizing room yield and hotel revenue through innovative sale practices and yield management programsPrepare a monthly financial reporting for owners and stake holdersHelping in the procurement of operating supplies & equipment and contacting with third-party vendors for essential equipment and servicesCoordination with the Head-of-departments for the execution of all activities and functionsDevelop and manage Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and developmentEstablish & maintain a proactive human resource function to ensure employee retention, motivation, training & development, wage & benefit administration, and compliance with established labor regulationsImplement and maintain effective open-door communication system across all departmentsCreate and maintain the company culture while educating team members about company motto and valuesRespond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achievedCorporate client handling and take part in new client acquisition along with the sales team whenever requiredResponsible for safeguarding the quality of operations both (internal & external audits)Ensure good safety practices of employees and guests, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security proceduresResponsible for legalization, Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations and other legal requirements – understand the government regulations and ensure hotel is at par with all rules and regulationsCarry out verbal & written policy changes and instructionsEnsure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel and managementEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulationsPerform any other duties as assigned by Executive team & OwnershipQualification Standards & Company Requirements3-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or MBA is preferredAt least 5-years of experience in the hospitality industryAt least 3-years of experience in hotel management with a proven track of success and knowledge of hotel operations & salesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage and lead a teamAbility to manage financial performance and achieve revenue and profit goalsPresent strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to reach with impactful strategiesStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office and hotel software(s)Are you currently eligible to work in the United States of America? *
