Our company was started in 2021 by top investor and operator, Keith Rabois, and is backed with $150M+ from investors such as Atomic, Founders Fund, General Catalyst, Khosla Ventures and Lux Capital.Description:As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing and executing business development strategies to foster strategic partnerships, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence. This is a leadership role that requires a proven track record of success in high-performance environments, particularly within early-stage startups or similarly innovative settings.Responsibilities:Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships that align with our business objectives. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and mutual success.Market Expansion: Develop and implement strategies to expand our market presence, identifying new business opportunities and revenue streams. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to capitalize on emerging opportunities.Revenue Generation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth through innovative sales and business development strategies. Develop and execute effective sales plans to meet and exceed targets.Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing business development team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Act as a liaison between business development, product, and marketing teams.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within early-stage startups or high-growth environments.Strong understanding of e-commerce and the ability to quickly grasp and communicate complex technical concepts.Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth.Leadership experience, with a focus on building and leading high-performance teams.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.OpenStore is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer where we welcome and celebrate differences.
