Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans.**About the Product Owner Position**The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for developing and driving technology product strategies and roadmaps to maximize the value of technology-based investments in the assigned product domain(s). The PO represents the Voice of the Customer, VOC within a particular Solution domain, either as part of a cross functional Agile team or in an otherwise defined partnership with the Technology team. The PO maintains a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities, identify process redesign opportunities and continuously and relentlessly drive toward strategic outcomes. This role will leverage customer insights and feedback as well as financial, compliance and risk data to define product features and roadmaps in partnership with subject matter experts. The PO interacts and collaborates with stakeholders on key product considerations and ensures alignment with product vision, features and roadmaps. The PO will monitor, evaluate, and report on the performance and impact of product solutions and will demonstrate agility by adjusting when needed to ensure value is realized through Colonials product investments.**What You Get to Do:**+ Lead product strategy, planning, and lifecycle management efforts for assigned products.+ Develop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy by surfacing and prioritizing needs.+ Monitor and analyze product performance, usage data, and customer feedback to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities and product enhancements.+ Maintain a regular cadence of review meetings to gather feedback on delivered solutions.+ Work closely with the cross functional team to detect quality issues as they surface and correct them in or near real-time.+ Manage dependencies with other team's functions while identifying, building, and managing strategic partnerships across different product teams.+ Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions.+ Determine internal and contract/external resources and skills required for the product team to deliver on the product roadmap.+ Keep the cross functional team informed of the strategy, driving product design or upgrade, and informed of any innovations that influence the evolution of product strategy.+ Translate user needs and business requirements into actionable product and technical requirements.+ Guide the cross-functional product team to scope, plan and deliver work, applying agile delivery methodologies.+ Define, track, and communicate OKRs for assigned product(s) to measure performance and contribution of value to the organization and evaluate future investment.+ Set expectations with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal project teams for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.**What You Bring to the Table:**+ Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education.+ Ideally, 10 years work experience in a Product, Business, Technical or related role, with 3 years' experience or understanding of product solutions, customer usage and success, and/or program or project management related to solutions delivery.+ Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.+ Demonstrated experience defining a value stream.+ Strong knowledge of business acumen, with the ability to focus on details and results, while working independently.+ Ability to be keenly aware of the needs of the stakeholders to whom their products are delivered.+ Ability to understand which problems need to be solved, which solutions would best solve them, and the feasibility of delivering those solutions.+ Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Companys core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments.+ Self-motivated, have phenomenal work ethic and looking for the right company to support your growth.**Got Extra to Bring?**+ Masters degree in related field of study from an accredited college or university.+ Ideally, 5 years of experience in a product owner role and 3+ years of energy industry or pipeline operations experience.+ Experience in product lifecycle management or software development and business process redesign.+ Product owner certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner Certification)+ Project Management certification+ Business Relationship Manager certification**Advantages of Working at Colonial Pipeline Company:**Getting to work for a company that helps to meet our countys energy needs and keeps us moving!Team members who care about each other while accomplishing remarkable things.Highly competitive benefits Check out Colonials Total Rewards (https://www.colpipe.com/careers/benefits-and-total-rewards)**Are you up to the challenge?
