Responsible for successful collaboration within product and project teams by analyzing business and technical opportunities and challenges in order to execute effective system configuration, integration, implementation, and support activities.Job Responsibilities:

The role balances three essential accountabilities:

Influence technical product strategy, direction, and goals by understanding business/technical context and working with product and project team members to deliver valuable functionality.Building and supporting relationships with key users and leadership, as well as suppliers, and working within the team to establish and maintain an understanding of the specific product lifecycle and system and process dependencies.Achieve product and project goals through collaboration within the team and across teams to determine what needs to be done, why, how, and by when.Accountability for supporting the delivery of projects owned and led by the team, as well as participation in team-specific activities within larger-scale projects — and involves ensuring progress is effectively tracked and communicated.Ensure products and systems are available to meet business needs (incl. on-call support rotation participation) and leverage lessons learned by applying them to our products and ways of working.Effective technical support is the backbone of the team and its efforts both influence — and are influenced by — the goals and outcomes of the technical product ownership and technical project leadership dimensions.

Does not supervise others.Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, graphic information systems, or related fields (equivalent experience/certifications/degrees will be taken into consideration).Two (2) years’ related experience.

Preferred:

Experience working in traditional (waterfall) and agile software delivery environments.Experience with systems integration and implementation of vendor applications.Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills and the ability to exhibit sound technical judgment under pressure.Experience with development and administration of web services and related applications.Experience with GIS software applications and databases (e.g. ArcFM, ArcObjects, ArcSDE, ArcIMS, and ArcGIS Server) is beneficial.Experience collaborating with GIS technical teams and working with Schneider Electric ArcFM XI is beneficial.Experience with Python, Java, C#, Visual Basic, SQL, and Oracle/SQL Server databases is beneficial.

Scope:

Primary focus is on daily deliverables, outputs and reporting. Typically accountable for managing one's own time and work flow. Responsible for using prescribed guidelines to analyze situations and solve problems. Work is typically of moderate complexity requiring the incumbent to draw on previous knowledge to perform role. Continues to build knowledge base and develop capabilities by partnering with more experienced staff as needed.Decision Impact:

Problems and issues faced are vague but may be recognizable based on past experience. Accountable for some direct level of reasoning and decision making in straightforward situations based on precedents.
