Job Description:
Expertise in build and deployment of software using automated tools and technologies Deep understanding and experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes and DevOps methodologies Must have hands on with automation/configuration management using either Ansilbe, Chef or an equivalent Experience on branching of repositories Should have predominantly worked on Java programming, Java Swing, JDK 1.5 to 1.8 or equivalent programming language Hands on with patch management Hands on experience working with AWS services Experience in Operation automation tools such as Shell/Perl/Python Experience on WAS 61, Java, AKKA, Kafka, Microservices ( Spring Boot, Angular, TC Server, Oracle 11) Demonstrable technical skills at an expert level with: Version Control - SVN , GIT, Bitbucket Build Tool - Ant, Maven, Gradle CI Tool - Jenkins, Bamboo Scripting - strong Unix/Linux and shell scripting experience Unit Testing - JUNIT, NUNIT Code Quality Tools - SonarQube Open source Tool - Elastic search, Logstash, apache Artifactory - Nexus Artifacts Issue Tracking - JIRA Document - Confluence Cloud - AWS Deployment tool - RUNDECK Required Knowledge:
Knowledge on ITIL Concepts implementation in daily work. Knowledge on Cloud Technologies such as AWS or any other private/public/hybrid cloud will be an added advantage. Understanding and Implementation:
Work with product teams to identify and implement automation in appropriate areas. Evangelizing DevOps practices and automation internally and externally (forums, community contribution). Testing of new products/tools and updates in DevOps space for continuous improvement. Maintenance of a Continuous Integration platform for infrastructure code. Clear understanding on Cloud Concepts.
