1- ONSITE WORK REQUIRING DAILY TRAVEL

- Candidates are based out of Concord, NH office, but will be required to travel to various state offices to perform work as necessary in this role. No overnight travel will be required.

to qualify for this position (proof of license and insurance will be required). Mileage for required travel to offsite locations will be reimbursed per State policy.

Position Overview:

These roles will support a critical project taking place to update the state's network infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on the pre/post work needed to support the project. Knowledge and experience will span a few different areas to include, but not be limited to: Data room facilities, cabling, equipment installation (switches, routers, UPS, as well as other equipment). Knowledge of device support and sanitization will be required. Both roles will report to the Network Operations team, taking direction from them for day-to-day tasks. Travel throughout the state will be required.

Roles and Responsibilities:•Installs, configures, monitors, and troubleshoots network equipment such as, but not limited to, Hubs, Network Interface Cards (NIC), Local Area Network (LAN) cards, hard drives, Cisco Ethernet switches, Cisco routers, wireless bridges, monitoring devices, access points, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and content devices.•Coordinates, and implements network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.•Tests hardware, networking software and operating system software in preparation of new installation or upgrade.•Works with vendors to resolve problems.•Working knowledge of network applications, switches and servers.•Experience in network cabling systems and fiber optic cabling.- Identify/Classify MDF & IDF source power and power distribution as well as advise on Electrical outlets and circuits in MDF & IDF locations.

Perform inventory management tasks and verify equipment database accuracy for all network equipment and required processes for asset tags on equipment; responsible for decommissioning and sanitization of legacy equipment along with accounting/tracking equipment in preparation for surplus process.
