Use AWS to deploy highly available, scalable, and secure applicationsAssist in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutionsDesign, develop and implement automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration solutionsProvide consulting and help build pipelines for application teams integrating cloud services into their applicationDesign and develop platform engineering and automation for governing usage of cloud services and application autonomyDesign and implement workflows to automate the release and upgrade process for applications in Development, Test and Production environments.Collaborate with the Cloud Security and Identity Teams on the administration and engineering of Role-Based Access Controls and processesHelp design and develop Governance of cloud infrastructure, including both technical controls and cost governance structuresCreate and update support documentation and standards.Develop automated methodologies for deployment activities, configuration management, supporting systems and business processes.Use Jira to track and manage all work through the development life cycle.Proactively analyze and contribute improvements to support our deployment processesInvestigate and contribute to solving various issues in production environments.Drive compliance and security efforts related to systems managed by the team.Skills / Experience
AWS professional and/or specialty certification, such as Solutions Architect, DevOps EngineerExperience in implementing Secure Architectures for private and/or public internet facing systemsStrong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure, and best practices. Such as K8S, Containers, Serverless, MicroservicesStrong understanding of IaC, CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, Bitbucket, Bamboo etc.Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols and distributed systemsExperience designing and developing resilient, highly available and scalable systems for the cloudExperience in cloud cost optimization and budget managementProficiency in Python, AWS CLIWorking knowledge of Shared Responsibility modelsPrior experience building out CI/CD pipelinesExperience working in Agile teams, and related tools (Jira, Confluence, etc)
