The Airborne Mission Operations (AMO) Division within the Airborne Solutions Operation of Leidos currently has an opening for a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) / Electronic Warfare (EW) Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting multiple manned ISR programs. The SIGINT/EW SME will be responsible for developing solution concepts, integrating capabilities, defining TTPs, and supporting the sustainment of multiple types of SIGINT and EW systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead the development and integration of SIGINT/EW capabilities on aviation platforms

Support the modernization and sustainment of SIGINT/EW systems on aviation platforms

Provide SIGINT/EW SME support and training to program mission system operators and technicians

Support internal research and development (IRAD) efforts and transition technology into relevant programs

Develop requirements for integration of SIGINT/EW systems on airborne platforms

Develop and execute verification and validation activities for integrated SIGINT/EW systems

Evaluation of hardware and software standards to determine limitations that could impact HW/SW convergence, and proposals to reduce those limitations

Integration of COTS/GOTS SW into multi-functional RF systems. This SW may provide any range of RF capabilities (SIGINT, EW, Cyber, etc.) or analytical tools supporting exploitation of the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS)

Remain current on relevant SIGINT and EW capabilities across industry, government, and academia

Basic Qualifications:

BS degree and eight (8)+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with six (6)+ years of prior relevant experience. Direct experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

Eight (8)+ years of experience as an aircrew member operating tactical SIGINT/EW systems

Current DOD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD TS/SCI

Previous intelligence or operations experience providing analysis of multi-source information

Experience with joint cryptologic operations

Previous ISR mission/intelligence product support experience

Advanced signals analysis experience

Airborne TECHELINT and OPELINT experience

Strong understanding of frequency agile signals

Experience integrating SIGINT/EW systems on airborne platforms

Desired Qualifications:

Active DOD TS/SCI

Experience with tactical processing, exploitation, and dissemination architectures/ capabilities that support RF data collection and analysis in austere mission locations

Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground communications and mission coordination experience

Previous ISR instructor/evaluator experience in a combat environment

Previous experience with line-of sight and beyond-line-of-sight data links

Previous ICS communication experience

Be willing to deploy to various OCONUS operating locations

Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate

Successfully completed FAA High altitude chamber / physiological training

Familiarity with the below a plus:

MORA, MOSA, SOSA, CMOSS, GNU Radio, VICTORY, FPGA, Java, Python, C, C++, SOAP, REST, Linux, databases, cryptography, advanced SDR applications

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
