We seek individuals who enjoy expanding their knowledge of the oil and gas industry and related technologies while working as part of a team delivering complex projects.EAG is currently seeking an Application Support Analyst III with experience supporting and/or implementing upstream oil and gas accounting applications such as Quorum, W Energy Software, P2 or Enertia. Individuals in this position are clever, creative, application-savvy people who are flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.The person in this role is expected to demonstrate daily the appropriate analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below and generate quality results. Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization, are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team. All members of the EAG team are expected to actively participate in our team environment, communicate with our customers in a professional and service-oriented manner and identify process improvement and optimization opportunities. As EAG continues to grow, members must be able to handle changing priorities, new challenges, and multi-tasking.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with clients, application vendors and the EAG team for troubleshooting. Individual investigates, analyzes, and solves software problems; maps client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs Proactively respond to and troubleshoot application issues Partner with clients to define and prioritize business requirements including issues submitted by the users through ticketing and service requests Develop and present solutions and recommendations to clients and internal teams Facilitate project activities such as client meetings, process/design workshops, user acceptance test sessions, and weekly status updates Provide hands-on business and technical analyst activities while completing project deliverables Ability to work with limited supervision while being self-accountable Exhibit critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. Ex: think through the root causes, identify options, make recommendations, effectively communicate rationale This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position.POSITION, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or Equivalent Bachelor's Degree. 1+ years of accounting application support or implementation experience with at least one of the following ERPs: Quorum, W Energy, Enertia, NetSuite, P2. Experience and understanding of the data and processes in key upstream areas such as revenue accounting, cost accounting, land, and financial reporting applications. System Implementation/Data Migration/Development experience is required. Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL syntax. Solid understanding of Database/table structures to enable effective data analysis, troubleshooting, and report design. Strong knowledge of Change, Problem, Incident and Service Management. Strong in all major Microsoft Office product (Word, Power Point, Excel) and Microsoft Visio Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy technical environment. High attention towards detail. Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.
