Overview

As a digital content strategist on the product design team, you play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to optimize the organization, structure, and delivery of content across various digital platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our content is user-friendly, easily accessible, and meets the needs of target audiences. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating meaningful and engaging user experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement content strategies that align with business objectives

Conduct user research and analysis to gain insights into user needs and behaviors, build a deep understanding of our target audiences

Develop and maintain content models, taxonomies, and metadata frameworks for web e-commerce and mobile apps

Plan, create, and manage high-performing content for our native apps

Create and manage content inventories and audits to find content gaps and opportunities

Collaborate with brand content creators (alcohol brands) to find the right approach to content creation to meet their brand objectives

Guide the creation of our editorial point-of-view, content guidelines and standards, including tone and style

Develop our translations and localization process

Analyze web analytics and user feedback to assess content performance and iterate and improve the digital content strategy

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in information architecture and content strategy

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, design, information science, library science, or a related field

4+ years of experience working as digital content strategist or an information architect at the enterprise level, with portfolio examples

Proficient in content management systems (CMS) and information architecture tools – AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) experience needed

Familiarity with user-centered design principles and UX methodologies

Strong presentation skills and experience sharing content point-of-view and rationale with brand leaders and stakeholders

Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality content

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient with applications such as InVision, Sketch, Zeplin and Figma preferred

Familiarity with Scaled Agile delivery and support models preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred
