Who You'll Work With:
As a Software Engineer on the EIMT – Institutional Portfolio Management team you will get the opportunity to work in an agile environment interacting directly with the front office business users building full-stack solutions using C#/.NET and SQL.
What You'll Do:
The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
A successful candidate will be expected to interface closely with the business to deliver enhancements to Trade Ticket and GO to support new investment products, order generation automation, and improvements to portfolio management workflows. The key responsibilities include:
Working closely with the business to define and implement requirements.
Partnering with other development teams on integration efforts including QA and BA teams.
Understand complex business problems and design / implement clean, scalable solutions.
Must own solutions through all phases of the SDLC including post-production deployment
Assist with ad-hoc requests from the investment team and provide overnight support.

What We're Looking For:
BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics or a related major
1-3 years C#/.NET experience
1+ years using SQL
1+ years doing front end development (Web or Rich client)
Experience using C++ is a strong plus
REACT or Blazor experience is a plus
Experience using Azure or GitHub is a plus
Skills:
Solid analytical and technical skills
Candidate must be willing to take ownership of projects and show strong client commitment
Must demonstrate good communication skills and be comfortable working closely with business users
Self starter as well as a good team player
A strong desire to document and share work done to aid in long term support
Special Knowledge (Nice to have but not necessary):
Experience working in the financial industry or knowledge of basic financial statement concepts
