This position works directly with the STRS Ohio Investments staff to provide ongoing technology support. Compensation: Grade 9: $74,100 to $81,510 Grade 11: $88,500 to $97,350 Grade 12: $103,300 to 113,630 Work Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday, with up to two days per week remote work opportunities. General Summary: Under the direction of the Supervisor, Business Application Team, provide business support to teams and business users through research and development of technology solutions. Design, develop, enhance, implement, and provide support for application software. The Business Systems Analyst 3 will coach, train, and mentor others in addition to leading key technology initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will be a team player with a passion for solving problems, learning new technologies, and providing solutions. Summary of Responsibilities: BSA 1: Work directly with the user community, under the guidance of senior analysts, to develop systems enhancements and resolve production problems. Work with users and team members to review and clarify user requests including impact analysis. Document specifications, requirements, user manuals, procedures, and other relevant information. Provide test scripts and follow full testing methodology through development and implementation to ensure that quality goals are met. Provide training for users on functionality of new systems and enhancement in releases of existing systems. BSA 2: Work directly with the user community to develop system enhancements and resolve production problems. Confer with users to determine functional requirements and enhancements. Present designs to user management and staff. Review user specifications with all involved parties to ensure proper evaluations are conducted and recommendations are made to users that satisfy business and technical requirements. Work with team members and user community to establish priorities on projects. Remain current on developments in the industries, and make recommendations on new technologies to users where appropriate. Document specifications, requirements, user manuals, procedures and other relevant information. Provide training for users on functionality of new systems and enhancements in releases of existing systems. Provide test scripts and follow testing methodology through development and implementation to ensure that quality goals are met. BSA 3 Work with users to develop systems enhancements and resolve production problems. Confer with users to determine functional requirements and enhancements. Present designs to user management and staff.
