- Facility: All Saints Hospital will be home base. But with rotationsto CSM and St. Joseph's Hospital.

Responsibilities
Ascension Southeast Wisconsin is looking for a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicianfor our Maternal Fetal Medicine Department.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Southeast Wisconsin to provide medical services to patients.
Position Highlights:
- Will be one of 5 perinatologists working as a team to support 3 tertiary care facilities in southeastern Wisconsin
- All sites are fully equipped with nursing staff, perinatal sonographers, perinatal genetic counselors and utilize Epic for EHR, GE Viewpoint for reporting and GE Voluson for ultrasound units.
- The nurses will assess all patients before they get into clinic. Patients will go to sonographer and then will present the patient. The MFM will make an assessment on the patient and make recommendations. Part of the residency program at CSM and St. Joe's will do high risk clinic support for the residency program and resident training for ultrasound. The traditional referrals for patients who are in patient in the hospital. 4 other partners all full time. Try to have one doctor at every site in person.
- Management and consultation services for all OB/GYN Providers in Southeastern Wisconsin.
- Supporting the residency program.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.
- Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
- Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Additional Preferences
Only Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) accepted.
