You will mentor other staff engineers, set coding standards, and ensure system stability and security. Experience in ReactPrevious lead experience over a small team of front-end engineersAWS experienceGood personality and communication skills to fit our Client's cultureExperience working in a test-driven environment with a focus on unit testing and test coverageAble to work at least a 6-9-month contract to hireCandidates located in Atlanta or Southeast preferably (willingness to travel occasionally)Essential Functions
Own solution architecture decisions for the team's productLead delivery and operations of the team's product, balancing individual contribution with leadership responsibilitiesMentor, assess, and guide other staff engineersInterview, select, onboard, and oversee contract engineersGuide the engineering team in adopting our Client's software engineering standardsIdentify and propose emerging software engineering technologies and methodologiesProvide support for the portfolio of solutions owned by the teamPerform other tasks as assigned
