Job Description

ASRC Federal Data Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a

Windows Systems Administrator Level III to supportour NOAA programs in Silver Spring, Maryland.

This role is a 100% on site position.

Key Role:

Provide support for windows server systems running on windows 2012/2016/2019. Activities includes troubleshooting, patching, backing up / restoring of VM's, deploying new VM's and working with application teams on Middleware support. Lead team of Junior admins in resolving system issues

Maintaining a stable Windows environmentPatch servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilitiesUse Ansible tower to manage and maintain the Windows environmentManage Puppet in providing compliance of the Windows environmentManage and maintain repo server and its repositories and the devices that pull down the reposManage Active DirectoryProficient in VMWare Esxi infrastructure and knowledge on deploying VM'sMust be able to work independently to execute against a set of requirements.Must be able to troubleshoot independently to resolution.Must be able to configure Intrusion Detection, encrypted storage, and system auditing.Must be available for 24x7 On call rotationRequirements

Required

4-8 + years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtualhardware/software/storage within an Enterprise data centerShould have some knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux environmentActive Directory ManagementUS Citizenship required to meet government on site requirementsMust be willing to do occasional shift or on call support
