Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Texarkana, TX

A new FSED facility with 12 ED beds is seeking en emergency medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.Visit the Ace of Clubs House, a unique octagonal Victorian mansion, or explore the history of the region at the Museum of Regional History. Enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and picnicking at Wright Patman Lake or Spring Lake Park.A new freestanding Emergency Department with 12 rooms, offering full-service imaging and on-site lab services, projected to handle an annual volume of 5,400 patients initially. There will be 24 hours of Medical Doctor coverage with shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine is required. If certified or eligible in Family Medicine, candidates must possess at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience. Transfers will be directed to the main campus.
