The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Web App Developer for our family of companies. Our companies conduct advanced research and develop innovative software and systems that help meet network security and reliability challenges for organizations world-wide. This position involves building intuitive user interfaces for these systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and creation of responsive and adaptive web-based application interfaces for the manipulation of large amounts of machine generated data in either textual or graphical format;Utilize secure coding practices while ensuring the user experience is intuitive on both traditional and mobile clients;Work with product teams to gather requirements and generate wireframe examples to ensure seamless project completion;Assistance creating documentation and training on the use of the application interfaces developed.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years professional experience with:
Web Application DevelopmentHTML / HTML5CSS / CSS3Javascript
Minimum of 5 years experience with:
RESTful APIsLarge amounts of JSON or XML dataReact or Angular or other similar productsBootstrap or other similar styling frameworksWorking in a Linux or other UNIX environment
Experience with the following a plus:
jQuery, D3.js, Graphviz, charting librariesNode.jsElasticsearch, MongoDB or similar data storageLeaflet or similar GIS softwareWeb Sockets or WebRTCPythonUnix/Linux shell scriptingKafkaDockerPayment card processing
