Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated Classified Cybersecurity Senior to support the Army Research Lab (ARL) classified environment and systems.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Ensure 100% of security incidents and Classified spillages are acknowledged within 4 business hours and resolved as appropriate following the government approved procedure

Respond to classified spillage notifications and coordinate with ARL Security, ARL IT Staff, and Legal Offices to minimize the impact on ARL resources

Follow DoD and Army regulations, policies, and guidelines

Process, track, and ensure proper decommissioning of Classified Equipment via the classified Turn-In process

Manage the CTO 22-025: Data Loss Prevention (DLP) documentation processing, tagging, updating for all sites

Review any reported ARL Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP)s, monitor until completion, and update VDP data in the SIPR portal

Collect, organize, submit monthly Cyber Maintenance Hardening Scorecard data via eMASS

HR Department Supervision Responsibility

Responsible for four direct reports

May serve as timesheet approver/backup and must insure compliance with CWS and DCAA timekeeping standards

Supervisory duties include acting as a mentor and or guide as necessary

Provides counseling and discipline as necessary

Authors and delivers performance appraisals as required

Participates in talent selection and interviewing efforts

Ensures effective on-site HR department onboarding is provided for every new team member

Promotes staff when appropriate

Provides input to staff compensation decisions including starting compensation, raises, bonuses or other incentive awards, etc.

Required Education & Experience

Minimum of five (5) years of Cybersecurity experience

Two (2) years of supporting classified networks experience

Familiarity with DoD regulations, policies, and guidelines

Experience with proper decommissioning of Classified Equipment via classified Turn In process

eMASS experience

SIPR Portal experience

ARL Security experience

Ability to manage CTO 22-025: Data Loss Prevention (DLP) documentation

Certification Requirements

None required

Clearance Requirements

Must have Top Secret Security Clearance or the ability to acquire one

Must be a U.S. Citizen
