What You Will Do

Provides support to investigate and troubleshoot issues related with E-business Suite applications, Oracle database and Oracle Exadata & ZDLRA machines.

Performs daily system monitoring activities to include verifying the integrity and availability of Exadata machines and E-business suite application server resources;

Supports the architecture and processes of Oracle 11g/12c/19c, E-Business Suite R12/12.2.7 & more, BI Applications and Exalytics resources;

Supports E-Business Suite / Oracle Utilities (C2M/MWM) developers for custom coding, code migration, interface design, XML publisher reporting, SQL procedures and concurrent requests; and creates shell/SQL scripts, packages, and stored procedures to manipulate data;

Provides Oracle application systems administration including user account management and maintenance e.g., assigning printers, configuring and monitoring Concurrent Manager (CM) queues, scheduling jobs, setting up profile options and setup/configuration/administration of Oracle alerts and work flow mailer;

Evaluates, recommends and serves as Point of Contact (POC) for software and hardware for database, Oracle ERP applications, BI-Apps solutions and other third-party products.

Who You Will Work With:Partners with technical and business groups to ensure that database performance standards adhere to enterprise service level agreements.

Who You Are:A Database Manager that is responsible for the implementation, design, maintenance, support of Oracle databases and maintenance of Oracle e-Business Suite R12.1/R12.2.7 & more applications at the Client.

Our minimum requirements for this role:Required

Advanced knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle E-business Suite applications administration, technology stack, with upgrades, cloning and patching with AD Online Patching (ADOP) utilities;

Advanced knowledge of maintaining Oracle Engineered Systems Exadata Machines and Recovery Appliances (ZDLRA);

Knowledge of Oracle Grid Infrastructure 19c, ASM and RAC, Oracle Active Data Guard, RMAN, and Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13c, Oracle application utilities, and Active Directory utilities;

Knowledge of diverse range of databases, including SQL Server, and IDMS.

Comprehensive knowledge of database technology, software technology, systems analysis, research techniques, systems development standards, quality and cost controls;

Knowledge of Oracle Application Object Library (AOL), Oracle EBS R12 data structures, workflows, Sub Ledger Accounting (SLA), BI Publisher, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle BI Applications implementation, Oracle database management systems and application servers including Oracle WebLogic running on Oracle Linux.

Knowledge of WebLogic, P6 Analytics, SQL server database system software, utilities, back-up and recovery procedures install and upgrade procedures and experience with database techniques, performance and tuning and documentation.

Knowledge of and the ability to support Oracle Financial database applications (ERP), Oracle Utilities (C2M), MWM, EAM, and P6 applications;

Proficiency in RHEL, Oracle Linux, and VMware, Oracle VM, Windows operating system Oracle RDBMS, Oracle middleware, infrastructure architecture, SQL and UNIX scripting;

Ability to support Microsoft SQL database applications;

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field;

6 years of progressive experience in database administration and Oracle Business Suite in a large corporate environment that includes:

Full life cycle Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.7 or more implementation/upgrade project completion in an Application DBA role;

Experience with Oracle application patching, cloning, SSL & load balancing configuration, administrative utilities and Oracle BI-Apps configuration administration;

Experience with backup/recovery, sizing and space management, PL/SQL tuning, diagnostics, TAR management and proficient with the use of Oracle's Enterprise Manager tool;

Experience in Noetix, Vertex, and Experian installation, configuration and administration;
