Job Description:
Take X-Ray images of specified body areas as directedFollow established procedures for transferring, preparing, and positioning of patientsWork in all areas of the department (CR/DR expertise in image manipulation, documentation, replication, storage and retrieval)Operate radiographic equipment following patient safety, radiation safety, and health standardsPerform quality control measures for printers, and readers when necessaryProvide basic nursing skills and quality patient careComplete diagnostic work as requestedProcess and QA x-ray images in preparation for reading by the RadiologistMaintain and clean radiographic and non-radiographic equipmentProvide hospitable guest and patient services
Position Requirements:
Must be registered with the ARRTPosses a State of Hawaii License (RT)Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care to various types of patientsAbility to maintain professional and cordial relationships with patients, clerical staff, and all medical personnelPrevious DXA and CT experience are a plus
