The Technology and Media Department is currently accepting applications for a

Technology Repair Specialist * or

Senior Technology Repair Specialis t* depending on the applicant's qualifications and expertise.

Primary job goals:

Senior Technology Repair Specialist (Apple Devices):

Serves as a primary administrator for Apple devices and services (iPad, Mac, Apple TV, etc) working within the Mobile Device Management (MDM) system Jamf Pro, ensuring effective deployment and management of mobile devices within the organization; and provides leadership in the implementation of MDM best practices. They will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive device deployment processes and configuration protocols. Additionally, they will develop advanced queries, scripts, and data files while maintaining detailed documentation. The specialist will be responsible for mentoring team members, managing complex support issues, reviewing and repairing damaged hardware, providing timely application support, training and staff development, while providing the highest standards of service.Technology Repair Specialist (Apple Devices):

The role requires proactive communication skills to effectively convey procedures and updates to staff and students. Additionally, the specialist will be expected to review and repair damaged hardware, provide timely application support, and training, while providing the highest standards of service.Required formal education:

Senior Technology Repair Specialist:

Associates degree, bachelor's degree preferred, with coursework in computer science, information systems, or another technology related field; possesses and maintains at least one technical certification relevant to the position and has three or more years of experience in an IT department and project management experience, or five or more years of relevant & successful experience in an IT department along with recommendation from the Director of Technology & Media.Technology Repair Specialist:

Associates degree, bachelor's degree preferred, with coursework in computer science, information systems, or another technology related field; three or more years of experience in an IT department.Compensation and benefits:

The positions work 37.5 hours per week, 245 days per year, including paid leave (sick, personal, vacation), with annual opportunities to earn performance-based pay increases.

Senior Technology Repair Specialist : Level 2 Classified Support position with a minimum starting salary of $56,820 which may be increased based on years of experience, expertise, and education.Technology Repair Specialist : Level 4 Classified Support position with a minimum starting salary of $46,340 which may be increased based on years of experience, expertise, and education.
