Responsibilities:Develop and implement detailed network designs in areas of switching, routing, IPv4 & IPv6, multicast, VRFs, VPNs, and MPLS.Design secure networks to maximize router and switch utilization.Analyze and resolve traffic congestion issues.Establish data backup and disaster recovery procedures.Monitor network performance and maintain relevant logs.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on technical solutions.Uphold company values and ensure a safe work environment.Requirements:
CCNP certification or equivalent experience.5+ years' experience in a communications service provider setting.Proficiency in MPLS, VPN, VRF, and QoS deployment and maintenance.Strong understanding of Layer 2 functions and switching.Experience with Cisco equipment; familiarity with Juniper and Palo Alto is a plus.Expertise in OSPF and BGP routing protocols.Familiarity with network scripting languages is preferred.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
