Title: Software Engineer II Location: Austin, TX( 3days office & 2 days remote)

Job Description:

The role will be primarily focused on designing and developing service oriented applications. We need someone who is tech savvy and keeps themselves up to date with the newest technology. The role requires experience in the automation testing including integration testing and end 2 end testing to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. You will succeed in this role if you are ambitious, produce high quality work and are a strong communicator in addition to being comfortable working in a matrix-ed environment, collaborating across globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities: Participate in technical design and implementation to support the company's business and technical initiatives. Responsible for software design, user documentation, code review. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following software development best practices. Develop, maintain and enhance the automation framework with industry-standard automation tools and frameworks. Coordinate release activities with teams and drive the CI/CD of release with pipelines. Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and cases for End to End testing and Load & Performance testing Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on code quality, maintainability, and testability. Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies. Stay current with the latest software development trends and technologies to drive innovation and improve client's software solutions. Requirements

BS, MS in Computer Science, CS, EE, or related field and 5+ years preferred experience in software automation or software development Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and application development in Java and J2EE, including Spring, Hibernate, servlets, JDBC, XML, XSL Validated experience in developing web services and RESTful APIs / micro services Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestNG, Junit, JMeter, etc Experience with database and SQL, preferably Oracle Familiar with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies Domain expertise in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: APIs (Public or Private), Contact Management (cases, routing, and blending), Web Application especially servicing large customer base, System Integration and Packaged Software Implementation.
