Ob/Gyn Physician: Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Rowan-Virtua SOM-Open RankRowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our dynamic academic department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team. Opportunities to teach the next generation of leaders in the medical field are a part of this position. In support of Rowan Medicine's mission and vision, the selected candidate will provide and manage comprehensive care to women of all ages at our Sewell and Stratford, NJ locations. Our department is an established, progressive, to be five physician group. Our in house call structure would require candidate to take call one day per week and participate in group coverage one weekend per month.The candidate must hold the following:• Valid NJ medical licenseMD/DOOur clinical campus is located in Southern New Jersey, which is within the Philadelphia metropolitan area approximately eight miles from Center City Philadelphia, one hour from the Jersey Shore, an hour and a half from NYC, and two hours from Washington, DC.Rowan University and the School of Osteopathic Medicine promote a diverse community that begins with students, faculty, staff and administration who respect each other and value each other’s dignity. Residency Requirements

Rowan University is subject to the residency requirements of the NJ First Act (N.J.S.A. 52:14-7, P.L. 2011, Chapter 70). Any person hired to a non-exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey or have one (1) year from the date of employment to establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey. Any person hired to an exempt position shall either have their principal residence in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York or have ninety (90) days from the date of employment to establish, then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York.
