Primary Purpose:

Enhance the utilization of instructional technology across campuses by offering comprehensive technical support and guidance to faculty, students, and staff. Collaborate closely with teachers to explore and implement innovative instructional technology solutions tailored to their teaching objectives and student needs. Diagnose and address technical issues with hardware and software, providing timely resolution and ongoing support.

Proactively engage with educators to assess instructional technology requirements and facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance their proficiency in leveraging technology for teaching and learning purposes.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Earned an associate degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, electronics, information technology, instructional technology, or computer engineering. Alternatively, candidates with equivalent experience in a technology-related field will also be considered.

Special Knowledge/Skills:General knowledge of computer hardware and software applications, coupled with the ability to diagnose and resolve technology-related hardware or software problems efficiently.General knowledge of instructional technologies available for use in educational settings, facilitating the integration of technology into teaching and learning activities.Able to troubleshoot and address common computer and technology equipment to ensure uninterrupted access to technology resources for staff, educators, and students.Versatility in various operating systems and computer applications, including software for spreadsheet development, database management, and word processing.Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating effectively with colleagues and supporting the technology needs of the school community.

Experience:

A minimum of one year experience in a professional technology-related role, with a proven track record of effectively collaborating with colleagues and clients.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Technical Support

Receive phone calls, email, or help tickets and work cooperatively to assist end-users to resolve problems and use software andProvide immediate on-site and/or remote assistance to campus staff andCommunicate with software and hardware vendors to resolve end-userCommunicate with technical support personnel and others to detect and resolveProcess technology-related work orders and assign priority to workEvaluate, recommend, and complete hardware and softwareArrange for needed repairs and maintenance of computers in campus lab(s), classrooms, and studentPerform upgrades to software andAssist with the organization and distribution of technology materials for faculty, staff, and classroomRecords and Reports
