Title:
IT Technician Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite) Duration: 6+ months Work Hours: 9:00AM - 6:00PM PST (Onsite)
Responsibilities :
Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability. Rack and stacking Server, lifting up to 50lb weight. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Ensuring electrical safety standards are met. Repairing or replacing damaged hardware. Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers. Install and configure systems which support infrastructure and/or R&D activities. Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware. Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting. Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues. Conducting daily backup operations. Managing technical documentation. Operations and Support Asset Management, includes 4 physical asset audits per year Need to track inventory any time
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance. A+, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation advantageous. Forman deployment experience Ansible experience RHEL, CENTOS, ROCKY, UBUNTU, and other Linux base OS installation, management, and support Asset Management experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
