Job DescriptionThe Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and accurate shipment of all finished goods, vendor returns, customer returns, customer salvage, components, machinery, and other items shipping from the facility. This role involves coordinating the preparation of goods for shipment, operating equipment such as forklifts, managing paperwork, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the preparation of goods for shipment, including staging on the dock, labeling, bill of lading preparation, packing slip preparation, and processing appropriate Automated Management (AIM) transactions.Operate forklift to load and unload trucks, and move materials to designated areas within the facility.Stage and identify products to be shipped, ensuring accurate matching with the corresponding bill of lading.Verify products being shipped against the proper documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Fill out necessary paperwork for all shipments and distribute it to appropriate personnel.Receive incoming products and components, unloading trucks and verifying materials against incoming paperwork.Utilize Radio Frequency (R.F.) gun to store and retrieve products and components from the Automated Storage & Recovery System (AS-RS).Label incoming materials with proper barcode labels and verify labels against materials.Drive interplant truck to transport materials or packaged items to and from specified destinations.Inspect truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or related field is a plus.Proven experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Forklift operator experienceKnowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including bill of lading preparation and documentation requirements.Familiarity with Automated Management (AIM) systems and Radio Frequency (R.F.) technology is desirable.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and inventory management.Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Valid driver's license
