Job Responsibilities:
Assess, engineer, and deliver IaaS, storage, and network technologies and solutions to Client’s public cloud platform via automation pipelines.
Develop automation leveraging our pipeline and configuration management technologies to deploy and configure resources.
Create high- and low-level design diagrams, build/deployment standards and technical specifications documentation.
Develop storage connectivity patterns and establish standard access models and patterns of use.
Engineer robust high-availability and disaster recovery patterns that are repeatable and can be consumed by line of business application teams.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues between cloud resources and on-premises infrastructure.
Align with our cloud stakeholders and customers to develop new capabilities/feature enhancements for our existing services.
Assist in the deployment and troubleshooting of new platforms that leverage our infrastructure services.
Development/documentation of deployments plans for our services to be consumed by release and application teams.
Analysis of potential security issues/vulnerabilities and development of remediation plans to ensure a secure and stable environment.
Align with technology & regulatory risk partners to set requirements.
Skills and Experience Required:
Required
3+ years of experience of infrastructure automation with a solid development background (Python is preferred, Java or other also acceptable)
Solid understanding and experience with public cloud environments (Azure and Google are preferred, AWS also acceptable)
Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline technologies and code release processes.
Experience with CI/CD/infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.).
Experience with public cloud storage technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Storage, Azure Storage accounts, Amazon S3, etc.) and storage backup technologies.
Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
Experience working with network segmentation designs in cloud environments.
Desired:
Practical administration experience working with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Education:
CISSP, CISM, or other general network security industry certifications are preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering is required
