to nurture and strengthen our relationships with the dedicated veterinarians and hospital staff who make it all possible.As a Sr. HR Generalist, you'll be the vital link between our corporate HR team and our veterinary hospitals. Your role is to advocate for our hospital employees, ensuring their HR needs are promptly addressed while championing our company's values, policies, and processes. The Sr. HR Generalist is a focal point of Companion’s relationships with our veterinarians and hospital teams. The position serves as liaison, advocate and trusted partner between Companion Pet Partners’ hospitals and PEO on all matters employee relations, leave of absences, benefits, policies and HR processes.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as primary point of contact for HR-related questionsAdvise hospital management on employment matters, including policy and procedure interpretation, performance management and conflict/ complaint resolutionManage and resolve employee relations issuesRecruit for Core Team (Corporate) positionsFacilitate the onboarding process for new teammatesAdminister the leave of absence and accommodation processSupport with the launch of annual HR tasks (performance reviews, open enrollment, merit/bonus administration)Manage the day-to-day relationship with the PEO vendorMaintain electronic personnel filesCoordinate the offboarding processCollaborate with IT, Payroll, Finance and other Core Team members as neededStay updated on relevant employment lawsAdhere to Companion policies, procedures, DOL, ADA, HIPAA, and OSHA regulationsPerform other duties as assignedCOMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of related HR experience requiredStrong skills in the following areas:Verbal and written communicationInterpersonal and customer serviceOrganizational skills and attention to detailAnalytical and problem solvingTime management and prioritizationAbility to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulationsEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree or SHRM/ HRCI certification requiredCOMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficiency with ADP Workforce NowProficiency with GSuite, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointWHAT WE OFFER:
