The ideal candidate for our Imaging Tool Developer is a C/C++ developer that is experienced in developing testing tools for use in image capture hardware and software. The right individual will possess strong communication skills, works well in a fast-paced environment, has strong presentation skills, and enjoys collaborating for issue resolution.Job Description:Create and test production tools for performance/stress testing on equipment hardware using C/C++Perform software and hardware systems test and debugging on image capture applicationsCollaborate with development teams when Tier-2 issues arise with debugging/testingProvide training and technical support on the testing tools post development for production useCreate documentation for the testing tools designed, including presentations on use of for end usersRefine our underlying data capture system and algorithms to improve the user experience utilizing C/C++Core RequirementsBachelor’s degree preferably in computer science, machine vision, engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in software tool development for hardware testing using C/C++Experience in coding imaging processing, machine vison algorithmsDemonstrated knowledge with installing/configuring Windows/Mac on a PC/Hardware and mobile deviceStrong presentation and training skills, both for technical and non-technical topicsKnowledge of Linux and/or shell scriptExperience with repository tools like Git, Subversion, SurroundCanfield Scientific, Inc. is the leading supplier of digital 2D and emerging 3D photographic equipment, imaging software, and computer systems for advanced patient imaging serving both physicians and the healthcare industry.
