Account Payable Specialist

Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is actively searching for a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist.This position would be responsible for all accounts payable duties including vendor invoices, credit card payments, reconciliations, credits, and rebates. Must be able to utilize creative thinking, strategic planning skills and teamwork to ensure all customers are taken care of. The ideal candidate will be able to enthusiastically rise to a challenge and coordinate a complex schedule that is very dynamic and always subject to change. We're looking for someone who is able to think outside the box and make quick decisions, but who can also work as part of a team to ensure we are providing accuracy and excellent customer service.
Hours: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day.Primary responsibilities include:Accounts payable and verification of invoicesCredit card reconciliationsOrganize all kinds of financial transactions such as classifying, computing, posting, recording and verifying accounts receivables’ data, on a daily basisAssistance with other bookkeeping duties as neededDetect problems with billing issues and takes steps to resolve themQualifications:Accounts Payable and Collections Experience: 2 years experienceExcellent knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principlesPrior experience with calculating, posting and managing accounting figures and financial recordsAble to work with very minimal supervisionAbility to interact well with all employees and perform as a team player is essentialPossess excellent communication skills and maintain a pleasant, professional demeanorPossess strong attention to detail and able to multi-taskHave strong computer and tech ability.
