Order Selector/Forklift Operator-1st Shift

Duties and responsibilitiesDuties include utilizing pick tickets for products to be selected for a customer orderCounting product accurately and picking cases for a customer order, bending and lifting to retrieve cases from pick slots, and lifting cases onto pallets.Order Selector must document case quantity or quantities picked, and use by dates accurately onto pick tickets. Once pallets are completed the pallet must be wrapped and labeled with contents of pallet on the pallet sheet.Pick Slot, Product Item Number, and Case Quantity on Product Tracking Sheet.He/she must also inform Management about all Quality, Safety, and Other problems found during the shift.Employee must maintain a clean work area at all times, requiring extensive janitorial tasks.Must be certified and qualified in the operation of powered jacks or lift trucksComplete daily Inspection for operating conditions and safety for assigned powered jacks/trucksCheck with all production Supervisors and / or Leads for list of products to be producedPut-away all finished products into pick slots for accurate picking processMaintain accurate, timely, and efficient workflow for all assignmentsMaintain accurate documentation necessary to assigned functionCommunicate with supervisor(s) and lead(s) as necessaryMaintain clean and orderly work area, including pick slots, pallet racks, dock, and cooler areasMaintain productivity at a consistently high levelMaintain a professional attitudeAdherence to all Company PoliciesFollow and comply with company's safety program at all timesOther duties as assigned. Qualifications include:

Bilingual English/Spanish - preferred but not mandatoryAt least three years of recent stand up forklift operating experienceAt least three years of recent electric pallet jack experienceWorking conditions

Must be able to work outside when needed in any weather conditionsCapable of working in a cold (34-38 degrees F) and wet environmentFlexible schedule with ability to work weekendsPhysical requirements

Ability to lift 75 pounds consistentlyWalking, standing and bending throughout the entire shift.

Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
