is looking for drivers to operate the ADA Paratransit, Shop & Ride and fixed regional routes. This role works directly with the disabled and elderly population as well as the general public.

Provide safe and reliable transportationDemonstrate excellent defensive driving skillsProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholdersMust assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicleMust assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocolsEnsure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customerDemonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilitiesComplete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as requiredComplete paperwork as requiredUtilize tablets or electronic devices as requiredWhat You'll need:

Must be 21 years of age or olderPossess a continuously valid US driver's license for the past 5 yearsPossess valid authorization to work in the United StatesMust possess a valid Oregon CDL Class B driver's license with Passenger endorsement and Air brakesNo suspensions, moving violation or at fault accidents in the last 5 yearsNo DWI/DUI charges in the last 10 yearsMust be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screeningMust pass criminal background check investigationEven better if you have...

Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two way radio, or other electronic deviceAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityAbility to communicate with others and comprehend instructionsAbility to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedulesAbility to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulationsFamiliarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area
