Kemper Shuttle is NOW HIRING Drivers. The selected individuals will be responsible for providing reliable and safe transportation for customers with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
RESPONSIBILITIES:• Provide origin to destination transportation for passengers• Provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism with clients and staff• Maintain On-Time Performance according to contract requirements• Obey all traffic regulations, staying within the posted speed limits• Instruct passengers in remaining seated and secured in a comprehensible manner• Assist with passenger packages to and from their entry• Complete pre and post inspections of vehicle reporting any maintenance needs• Complete paperwork as assigned• Maintain a reliable attendance record• Follow all safety rules, and maintain a Safety First mentality• Present a professional appearance, maintaining a clean uniform
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:• Excellent defensive driving skills• Excellent customer service skills• Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity of the needs of individuals with disabilities• Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area• Able to speak, read and write the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, dispatchers, passengers, understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, schedules
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 23 years of agePossess a continuously valid US driver's license for the tree 3 years, from date of issueAble to pass pre-employment screeningNo suspensions, DUI, or More than 1 citation in the past 3 yearsMust have a smart phoneBe able to wheel the wheelchair in to the van or to the facility
