SUMMARYThis position will accurately and efficiently pick orders while using first in first out (FIFO) methods to fulfill customer orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Follow all Safety, SQF, GMP, and housekeeping rules and regulationsEfficiently and safely operate fork truck in a potentially hazardous environment (wet, sloped floors, heavy pedestrian traffic)Responsible for proper use and maintenance of the scanning systemVerify cases picked to match Bill of LadingDaily safety and maintenance check of vehicleCommunicate all issues to management for improvementsProperly and accurately completing paperworkOther duties as assignedFOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ship product free of contaminationFollow all Ken's Foods Security and GMP policiesReport any suspicious activities anywhere in or around the plantInspect work area for any possible product contamination issues on a continuous basisReport any leaking or spilled product immediatelyInspect all incoming and outgoing loads for signs of product contaminationESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
