Our ideal candidate is attentive, energetic, and hardworking.ResponsibilitiesRecord inventory data manually or on a computer or handheld electronic deviceDocument discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts of stockReceive, count, and verify incoming ordersLabel stock items with labeling equipment such as identification tags or stampsPack and unpack items for storage in stockroom or warehouseOperate machinery for moving stock itemsProcess shipping requestsDistribute products or materials to laydown areas, shelves or production workersCoordinate with co-workers to accomplish large tasks efficientlyProcess damaged or defective stock per company protocolReport malfunctioning or damaged stock-handling equipment to supervisorMaintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and requisitionsComply with safety regulations for moving heavy objects and using machineryKeep the stock room neat and orderlyInventory stock of materials, supplies, parts, and merchandiseQualifications:
High school diploma or GED requiredAble to speak, read, and write in EnglishMinimum of six months experience in stocking, shipping, logistics, or related fieldExceptional organizational skillsStrong interpersonal communicationWritten and oral comprehension skillsAbility to complete tasks with little to no direct supervisionWork quickly and accurately in a complex, fast-moving environmentPhysically able to stand and walk for extended periods of timePhysically capable of routinely bending to lift and move items up to 50 poundsBasic working knowledge of computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office
